    Villisca Axe Murder House

    		The Villisca Axe Murder House was the scene of a tragic crime in 1912, when eight people were murdered while they slept. The crime remains unsolved. After having been restored, the house is now open for tours to teach people about the mystery and the effects it had on the community. Open by appointment only.
